ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Jimenez and Hiatt, golf

Chago Jimenez and Nolie Hiatt have been named Athlete of the Week for Bonners Ferry golf.

On April 23, Chago, a senior, led the Badger boys at the Circling Raven Golf Course in Worley with 89 strokes, taking 10th. Chago has improved tremendously the past season. In 2023 he shaved off 23 strokes from the 3A IML Districts in 2022, notching 114.    

Nolie, a freshman, dropped below 100 strokes for the first time this season at Worley, scoring 97. On Monday at Twin Lakes she continued this trend with a 98.
