Tina Marie VanDenBerg
Tina Marie VanDenBerg, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many, passed away on March 23, 2024, at the Schneidmiller House in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
She was born on May 28, 1963, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, to Audrey Bennett/Tusing and Wallace Huggins.
Tina is survived by her loving son, David VanDenBerg; devoted daughter, Summer VanDenBerg; cherished granddaughter, Danielle VanDenBerg; and caring brothers, Donnie Huggins; and Darren Vanhorn. She was preceded in death by her dear mother, Audrey Bennett/Tusing and father Wallace Huggins.
Tina's life was one filled with an unwavering love for nature. Despite life's trials and tribulations that came her way, she never allowed them to rob her of what she loved most — being surrounded by the beauty of nature and the presence of animals. Even when confined to a wheelchair later in life due to a tragic car wreck, Tina continued to find solace and joy in the natural world around her.
Her heart was truly made of gold — overflowing with compassion and strength that inspired those around her. Tina faced every battle with resilience and determination never giving up hope or losing faith. Her selflessness knew no bounds as she cared little for material possessions. She found immense joy in connecting with others especially children whose innocence brought light into her life.
She had a big heart that loved without judgment or prejudice — a confidante who provided comfort during times of need. Her ability to listen without passing judgment endeared her to many who sought solace within her comforting presence.
To know Tina was to experience unconditional love — a love so pure it reached beyond words into the depths of our souls leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her.
A ceremony will be held at a later date by family members where we will come together not to mourn but celebrate the life and beautiful legacy left behind by Tina Marie VanDenBerg, a woman whose impact will forever resonate within our hearts.
