BCH health fair and ‘Super’” fun run Saturday
BONNERS FERRY — Get free health service and bring out your inner superhero at this year’s Boundary Community Hospital 2024 health fair and fun run.
The event is being held on Saturday, May 18, and begins at 9 a.m. at Boundary Community Hospital, 6640 Kaniksu St.
The health fair has many opportunities for those in the community to come out and get free health screenings, including A1C and blood pressure, as well as information and resources on a variety of health and wellness topics.
For those with babies or small children, car seat safety will be available. In addition, there will be free car seats and cribs will be available through Safe Start.
If the weather permits and there are no emergency calls, Life Flight is scheduled to make a landing at 10 a.m. It is asked that those who wish to spectate be aware and clear the landing pad area near that time.
A plant sale will be held with locally grown plant starts.
Anyone can participate in the super hero fun run, with options of a 3k family walk, a 5K run or a 10K run. The fun run is free for those who want to participate. To register, go online to boundarycommunityhospital.org/bch-health.
The goal of the health fair and fun run every year is to promote healthy living in the community, BCH officials said.
