Becky Buechner, 49

Becky Yvonne Buechner, 49, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024. 

Born on December 30, 1974, in California, Becky was raised in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and called it home before she moved herself and her children to Spokane, Washington. 

Becky had a deep love for her children, gardening, animals, and the outdoors. She enjoyed spending her time in nature, whether it was hiking through the woods, visiting the ocean, tending to her garden, or caring for the wildlife that frequented her backyard. Her passion for the natural world was evident in everything she did.

A devoted mother, Becky cherished her two children, Tara and her late son Timothy. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she took great pride in watching them grow and experience life. Becky continuously showed up for Tim and Tara’s band, choir, sports games, and cheer performances throughout their young years.

She was also a beloved friend to many, known for her kind heart, generous spirit, stubbornness, and wittiness. Family was a great deal to her as she grew up with five sisters and two brothers. 

Her legacy of love for her two children, her family, the outdoors, and the creatures she cared for will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
