Cabin Trail now open to non-motorized use

PARADISE VALLEY—Cabin Trail, located at the Enchanted Forest trail head is now open to non-motorized use. 


The two mile single track is part of the Enchanted Forest, a 1,100 acres of private land donated by Xmas Hills LLC and in memory of Caroline Farnsworth.


9B Trials officials thanked the 13 volunteers who cut trees into lengths for the mill, rebuilt switchbacks, buffed the trail, re-established drains and blew debris off trails with backpack blowers.


All trails that are accessed from the Hootowl Trailhead are open and have been maintained. 


 9B Trials has acquired the land in 2018 to develop hiking, biking, equestrian, snowshoeing and Nordic trails for the public to use and to enjoy. 


The Enchanted Forest Located on the outskirts of Bonners Ferry with more than 25 miles for trail users of all levels of skill and ability are designed. The Enchanted Forest is a rare gem and promises to offer a mystical adventure through a magical forested retreat.


Every Monday 9B Trails has work parties where volunteers meet up to maintain and build trails for the community to utilize. 


Volunteers should bring work gloves, work shoes and water. Tools will be provided.
