Memorial Day Observance Event Calendar
At the Boundary County Memorial Park in downtown Bonners Ferry, the names of residents who gave the ultimate sacrifice are etched in stone.

BONNERS FERRY — Memorial Day celebrates those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The Boundary County Memorial Day Observance is Monday, May 27.
To start off the day's agenda, staging for the parade will start at 9 a.m. with the parade through downtown Bonners Ferry set for 10 a.m.
A memorial service at Grandview Cemetery will start at noon, followed by a lunch for veterans and their families at Memorial Hall at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.
Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day, due to the early tradition of decorating graves with flags, wreaths and flowers. It is a remembrance, for all the men and women that have died in service of our nation.
