| November 21, 2024 1:00 AM

Adam Hall, Utah Valley University Men's Wrestling Head Coach

Adam, a 2006 Bonners Ferry High graduate, recently picked up his first win as head coach of the Wolverines, taking down CSU Bakersfield by a score of 25-15. More recently, Hall also helped coach eight individuals to weight class titles at the Menlo College Invite on Nov. 2. Dual-wise, although falling to nationally-ranked opponents in Stanford (29-12), Nebraska (32-7) and Oklahoma State (38-6) earlier this season, the Wolverines will look to get back on track when they head to Coach Hall's old stomping grounds this Saturday to face Presbyterian, Duke, and NC State. Previously, Hall spent nine years as an assistant and associate head wrestling coach for the Wolfpack.

Adam Hiatt, Montana Tech University Men's Basketball Head Coach

A 1997 Bonners Ferry High graduate, Adam has coached his No.7-nationally ranked Diggers to a 6-0 start. Most notably, Montana Tech, which recently got a commitment from Bonners Ferry High senior Asher Williams, defeated No. 22 Lewis-Clark State on 85-83 after a buzzer-beating three-pointer. So far, the Diggers average margin of victory this season is 23.8 points per game. Montana Tech travels to UC Merced this Wednesday.

Eric Holbrook, Treasure Valley CC Men's Basketball Head Coach

A 2011 Priest River High graduate, Eric coached the Chukars to home wins over Multnomah University JV (117-56) on Nov. 15 and Grays Harbor (83-63) on Nov. 16 during NWAC Basketball Opening Weekend. Against Grays Harbor, Treasure Valley forced the visiting Chokers into 22 turnovers as a team, and held them to 21 percent shooting from behind the three-point line. Treasure Valley, which is 2-1, hosts Pierce College on Friday.
