Pearl Theater announces fall activities

| October 3, 2024 1:00 AM

The Pearl Theater has always been the venue to see concerts and plays in Bonners Ferry, but the theater is expanding programs to include a wider variety of events. Events you can now find at the Pearl include groups, workshops, a drum circle, karaoke and much more.

Recently, the Pearl hosted its first “Night Owl: After Dark” event for those 18 years old and above.

“We were lucky to get Ashley Lopez up from Sandpoint for our inaugural Night Owl: After Dark. She is a professional belly dancer, contortionist, and singer who has been part of Northwest Belly Dance’s shows at the Pearl in the past,” McCallum Morgan, program director, said.

“We hoped that by keeping the entertainment under wraps, we’d get people curious and excited to discover what was going on. Around 20 people showed up for the event and had a really great time and stayed until midnight.” Morgan said, adding, "For future Night Owl events, we are open to the public’s input on entertainment and activities.”
