When hunting, follow the refuge's rules

It's that time of year when we remind newcomers that many of the areas on the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge are off-limits to people who are not waterfowl hunting.

Please respect the traditions of this county and community, and the rules of the refuge, by not walking through the middle of the hunting grounds, and to those who are hunting, please only hunt in approved hunting locations. Read the rules and signs.
