Woelfle takes third at Kids Spartan Race

Thirteen-year-old Gordon Woelfle finished in third place in the Kids Spartan Race on Sept. 13-14 in Seattle.
In the competitive race, runners between the ages of 9-14 race for two miles while navigating various obstacles including wall climbs, mud pits, sandbag carries and more. For awards, the age groups are divided into ages 9-11 and 12-14.
Woelfle is not new to Spartan races, as he competed in three races in 2023, two of which were over one weekend. By competing in three races in one year, Woelfle earned Spartan Trifecta Kids Medal in 2023.
