Halloween events offer spooky fun

Grab your costumes and head out for some Halloween fun. Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, so with it being a weekday, a couple of events are being held the weekend before. 

List of Halloween events 

• Friday, Oct. 25 — Halloween party at Liberty Lanes 

The Halloween party, which begins at 6 p.m., is for those 21 years old and older. Join Liberty Lanes for a spooky night of fun! Come out for a costume contest and Halloween party with rewards and prizes. Plus, live music with the Turnspit Dogs. Liberty Lanes is located at 6662 Lincoln St., Bonners Ferry 

• Saturday, Oct. 26 — Pumpkin carving and trunk or treat at the Good Grief Grill 

Pumpkin carving from 2-4 p.m., trunk or treating from 4-6 p.m. Pumpkins will be provided for the pumpkin carving for a $7 fee. Cocoa, cider, prizes and fun.  The Good Grief Grill is found at 534171 Highway 95, Bonners Ferry  

• Thursday, Oct. 31 — In His Image Harvest Fest 

Harvest Fest begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. The community is invited to celebrate the harvest and journey through the Bible with games for kids in a safe atmosphere! This is a free event supported by local churches and businesses. The event will be held at 6789 Main St., Bonners Ferry   

• Thursday, Oct. 31 – All Ages Halloween Bash at Liberty Lanes – 5-10 p.m.  

Get up to one game of free bowling for those who show up in costume. The bowling bash will be held from 5-10 p.m. Liberty Lanes is located at 6662 Lincoln St., Bonners Ferry.
