PREP VOLLEYBALL: Lady Badgers rolling into regular season finale on high note

KELLOGG — The visiting Lady Badgers fell in four sets to the host Lady Wildcats (23-25, 23-25, 25-18, 24-26) in a nonleague match last Tuesday.

Sophomore Taren Bateman led the offense with 23 kills, 13 digs, and two aces while senior Helene Rae registered 14 kills and two aces. Senior Ellie Flack had 36 of the Lady Badgers' 43 assists and also had two aces and a team-high 25 digs.

Senior Ryle Kimball had a team-high four total blocks, five kills, eight digs, and an ace, senior Kimberly Lucas two aces, 14 digs, five kills and six assists. Sophomore Makenna Sandel had 20 digs on the defensive side of the ball.

Bonners Ferry 3, Timberlake 1

BONNERS FERRY — On Volley for a Cure night at Bonners Ferry High, senior Helene Rae posted an impressive 30 kills to lead the Lady Badgers past the the visiting Lady Tigers in four sets (25-16, 22-25, 25-21, 27-25) on Monday.

Sophomore Taren Bateman added 10 kills and a team-high 20 digs, senior Rylie Kimball four aces, sophomore Eva Willis three total blocks while senior Ellie Flack dished out 38 of the team's 43 assists and contributed 13 digs.

Bonners Ferry 3, Priest River 2

BONNERS FERRY — On senior night at Bonners Ferry High, the Lady Badgers wrapped up nonleague play with a five-set win over Priest River (23-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-9) on Monday.

Bonners Ferry (11-8) travels to Timberlake today for their final game and 4A Intermountain League match of the regular season.
