BCVS readies for benefits

The annual Fall Festival and Fashion Show fundraiser for Boundary County Victim Services is set for Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Great Northwest Territories Event Center in Naples. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the event begins at 6 p.m.  

Tickets are $25 or $30 at the door and are available at Under the Sun, The Dressing Room, Bonners Books and 9B Hair. Tickets will be sold at the door until they are sold out.  

The fashion show is provided by Baked & Lavish and local male models will be modeling ensembles created at Community Thrift. A live auction will be taking place and there will be complimentary appetizers, with beverages, beer and wine available for purchase.  

Boundary County Victim Services provides support, information, education, and referral services to victims and their immediate families, witnesses and survivors.   

BCVS also has advocates available to assist with civil protection orders, restitution calculations, applications to the crime victims’ compensation program, impact statements, victims’ rights education, court escort, emergency medical advocacy and overall support.
