Paul and Ieva Cataldo perform at KRBC
If you are in the mood for live music, head over to the Kootenai River Brewing Company on Friday, Sept. 20 to watch Paul and Ieva Cataldo perform. The duo is scheduled to play from 6-9 p.m.
Paul and Ieva Cataldo are an independent Americana singer/songwriter tandem based out of Clearwater, Florida. Paul developed his Appalachian Mountain-influenced brand of backwoods wilderness inspired Americana while living in Asheville, North Carolina in his late 20s. When he was 30, he began touring extensively throughout North America and eventually wandering up to Alaska where he met Ieva in 2015. He immediately began teaching her to play bass and sing harmony so she could join him onstage and on tour.
The pair now record albums and tour for a living everywhere from Florida to Alaska and overseas from Lithuania (Ieva's home country) to Portugal. Paul and Ieva call their Dodge truck and 2003 Scamp travel trailer home while they perform over 160 shows on average annually.
Paul and Ieva also have a highly entertaining video travel diary “Free, Wild & Restless - Diary of an American Singer/Songwriter."
KRBC is located at 6424 Riverside St, Bonners Ferry.
