Athlete of the Week: Hart and Hubbard, soccer

Maddie Hart, a junior forward, has been named Athlete of the Week for Badger girls soccer. Hart has scored nine goals in seven games and has added two assists.   

She also is known for some of the best goal celebrations as she is commonly seen jumping in teammates arms and racing to high-five teammates after every Badger goal.  

Malachi Hubbard, a senior fullback is name Athlete of the Week for Badger boys soccer.  

Hubbard doesn’t get rattled, no matter his opponent or their skill level. He plays solid defensive style, stops the offenses attack and is a moral leader for the Badgers. His humble confidence provides a calm presence on the pitch and his encouragement and communication to his teammates has been paramount in the Badger’s 9-1-1 record.
