PREP TRACK & FIELD: Girls finish ninth at Lewiston Invitational
LEWISTON — The Badgers Track and Field girls team had a handful of competitors at the 22-school Lewiston Invitational on March 28, with athletes placing in a few events despite competing against larger schools.
Mt. Spokane dominated, scoring first for boys with 162.33 and first for girls with 151.5. Bonners Ferry girls finished ninth with 29 points. The boys did not compete.
Sydney Beckle finished with a personal record 12:33.2 in the 3200m, taking second place behind Mt. Spokane’s Ainsley Bowen.
The Badgers also had three of the top four finishers in shotput. Junior Hallie Hartman took second with 40 feet, 6 inches, junior Hana Hartman took third with 38 feet, 6 inches, and senior Helene Rae finished fourth with 37 feet, 11 inches.
