Festival of Hearts celebrates, supports Boundary Community Hospital
The Fry Healthcare Foundation is inviting the community to join in the fun of the annual Festival of Hearts on Saturday, Feb.15, 2025, at the Kootenai River Inn.
This elegant evening will feature a chef-curated three-course meal, the beloved Dessert Dash, live entertainment by Courtney & Company, and a chance to support Boundary Community Hospital. Tickets are $100 per plate, and the event is open to the public.
Proceeds from this year’s event will go toward improving and upgrading the hospital’s facilities, helping ensure the delivery of top-quality care to the community. Recent contributions from the Fry Healthcare Foundation have funded significant purchases, including surgical table and lights, defibrillators, an electrostimulator for the Rehab department, and a CO2 incubator for the lab among many others. These vital acquisitions demonstrate the tangible impact of community support.
Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal featuring an appetizer of shrimp and bacon jelly on garlic bread, a green garden salad with New York tenderloin, and a main course of marinated tri-tip steak and braised short ribs. The evening will also include the always popular Dessert Dash, where tables compete to claim their favorite sweet treats.
In 2024, the Fry Healthcare Foundation raised $54,000, nearly double the amount raised in 2023, that went to funding critical hospital upgrades. The support of the community this year will help continue that momentum.
Over the past two years, with the support of the community, the Fry Healthcare Foundation has contributed $139,016.38 to Boundary Community Hospital.
