From the Archives - Feb. 6, 2025

This is a great example of an unfinished project in the Museum's collection. It came from the Eveline Ruhberg Collection. No information is known about this piece; so it could have been made by her, her mother, or her grandmother? Or a friend...... oh, to hear the story about it. 

Fiber Fest at the Museum 7229 Main Street in Bonners Ferry, Idaho - Saturday, February 8, 2025.  

Join the Circle and Continue the traditional fiber arts. Bring your drop spindles, spinning wheels, needles, hooks, tools, gizmos, gadgets, fibers, threads, and yarns for a day of like hearted sharing, visiting, and learning.  

New this Year...the UFO (Unfinished Fiber Objects) Corner  

There will be storytelling about projects: yours, your mothers, or others! You will see the Oldest UFO; and you can brag about finally finishing your UFOs. You can also bring a UFO you are finally ready to pass on to someone else to finish, or adopt a UFO and promise to bring it back finished in the future (or not). 

Shrink your stash or expand it at the popular “Take it or Leave it” table. No Sales. 

Bring your Family and Friends. It’s a FREE Day at the Museum! Saturday February 8, 10-3.
