The annual Donkey Basketball games at Bonners Ferry High School Feb. 6 were competitive, entertaining and raised money for Boundary County Victim Services.

The event was sponsored by BFHS Future Farmers of America.

FFA Alumni defeated FFA Members 8-2 in the opening game.

The BFHS Students team had a dominant victory over the Boundary County Middle School Staff team in game two, taking the win 14-2.

There seemed to be a lid over the rim in the third game between BFHS Coaches and BFHS Athletes. The coaches hit a clutch bucket to win the game 2-0. The game was described on the loudspeaker as "an uneventful matchup but a close finish."

In the final matchup between East Port Customs and Border Patrol and Porthill CBP, both teams had a strong defensive performance, much like their defense of the national border. Porthill won 4-2.
