PREP BASKETBALL: Two Badgers selected for 22nd Annual Statewide All-Star Games
Two players from Bonners Ferry — Asher Williams and Thomas Bateman — will have the privilege of being coached by the Badgers' very own Nathan Williams at the 22nd Annual Statewide All-Star Games, which will take place March 15 at North Idaho College in Christensen Gymnasium.
Bonners Ferry's Brody Rice has also been selected as an alternate.
The seniors-only event will feature some of the best players from around Idaho. The teams are divided into Region and Metro, with "Metro" being the Treasure Valley and "Region" being the rest of Idaho.
The event is sanctioned by the Idaho High School Athletic Association and is the only basketball all-star event featuring athletes throughout the state of Idaho.
The girls game begins at 1 p.m. followed by the boys at 3:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
Idahosports.com nominated and selected this year’s outstanding senior all-star basketball players in Idaho. The event, which will be broadcasted live and free on IdahoSports.com, also includes a three-point shooting competition for both boys and girls, and a slam-dunk contest between the games.
Rosters and coaches are subject to change based on availability to participate. Idahosports.com will update the information below as changes happen before the event.
