Amelia 'Amy' McQuilkin, 82

Amelia (Amy) Helen McQuilkin, 82, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Amy was raised on a farm in Olatha, Colorado.  Her parents were David and Hildegarde McQuilkin and she was the youngest in a family of six children, three brothers and three sisters.  

She moved to San Francisco, Calif., and worked for an insurance company.  Later she worked in the grocery industry.  Upon retiring, in 2007, she moved to Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where she lived in her home on the South Hill. For several years she worked as a driver for a transportation company taking clients to appointments.  Amy was always eager to be helpful to others and had a very positive attitude.  She spent her last days at Sunset Home assisted living in Bonners Ferry. She will be greatly missed.
