Nolda Marie Gross was born August 24, 193,9 in the Boundary County Hospital. Her parents were Florence and Robert Roland. Mom had two sisters and one brother, Sara Lou, Nancy, and R.C. Roland.
The family lived out by the Copeland Cemetery. Mom attended Copeland and Mt. Hall Schools and graduated from Bonners Ferry High School. Mom and her best friend Alice Hinthorn (Krause) left town to waitress at West Glacier for a summer.
When they came home, she met the love of her life, our dad Lennis O. Gross, they were married on August 26, 1961. Mom and dad remained in Boundary County. They had four children, Scott, Tony, Rick and Lynnea.
Mom was a waitress at the Panhandle Restaurant for 26 years, then at Fiest Creek, after that she retired. She was a great wife, mom, friend, and a wonderful person.
Mom is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Lennis; parents, Florence and Robert (Bud) Roland; sisters, Sara Lou and Nancy; grandson, Jeremy Gross; and great-great-granddaughter, Claire Sargent.
