Ramon L. Rose, 84
Ramon L. Rose, 84, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He had not been healthy in 2024 and looked forward to being in Heaven.
A favorite Scripture of his was Philippians 1:21-"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
Ramon was born in Petoskey, Michigan, on August 18, 1940. He went into the U.S. Navy in 1961 and served on an aircraft carrier until 1965, including on a seven-month cruise in Vietnam. He worked as an electrician and in aerospace on the moon landing craft. Most of his career was in electronics. He retired from civil service for the Department of Defense, Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Darrelyn Rose of Bonners Ferry; his daughter, Shana Castellanos (Ulises) of San Diego, California; his son, Brett Rose of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and his grandson, Quintilio Rose of Santa Monica, California.
Ramon and his wife moved to Bonners Ferry in 2003.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Mt. Springs Church at 2 p.m.\
