Boundary Community Hospital Auxiliary hosts annual pie sale
The sale won’t end until all of the pies have been sold as the Boundary Community Hospital Auxiliary gets ready to hold its annual pie sale next week.
The sale will be held Thursday, March 13, beginning at 9 a.m., at the VFW Hall, 6635 Lincoln St. The event is one of the auxiliary’s largest fundraisers of the year
Last year, the auxiliary raised over $9,000 to support Boundary Community Hospital, funding vital equipment including otoscopes for the Emergency Department, tablets for Extended Care Facility residents to connect with loved ones, and surgical tools for the Surgery Department.
"Our annual pie sale has become a beloved tradition in our community," said Sandi Wright, president of the BCH Auxiliary. "With approximately 200 homemade pies available, there's something for everyone's taste, and every purchase directly supports our local hospital."
Community members are encouraged to arrive early to select from the wide variety of freshly baked homemade pies. For those interested in contributing a pie to the sale, donations can be dropped off at 8 a.m. on March 13 at the VFW Hall.
The BCH Auxiliary hosts three to four fundraising events annually, with all proceeds benefiting Boundary Community Hospital's ongoing needs and initiatives.
The Boundary Community Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the mission and services of Boundary Community Hospital through fundraising and community engagement initiatives.
