Nate Ady receives Restorium employee of the month

Nate Ady is the recipient of the February Friends of the Boundary Community Restorium Ray Olson Employee of the Month "We Care" Award.  

A personal services assistant and medical technician, Ady began working at the Restorium on Sept. 8, 2023, and quickly became an integral part of the Restorium family, facility officials said 

"Selected for this award by the residents you serve with such dedication and respect, your hard work and good nature are appreciated, your presence a welcome part of our day," Ady’s award certificate reads.  

In addition to the certificate, Ady received $50 from the Friends of the Restorium, a $30 gift certificate for the Springs Restaurant at the Kootenai River Inn, one month of parking in the Ray Olson “We Care” reserved parking spot by the west entrance and a floral arrangement from Bee Haven Flower Farm.  

Ray Stanley Olson and his wife, Hazel, were long-time residents of the Community Restorium, where they found a home filled with loving, caring people. He stayed on after she passed, remaining active, planting the garden that produced fresh vegetables for the kitchen and beautiful flowers for residents and staff alike to enjoy. Before his passing Jan. 23, 2016, he established the "We Care" award to recognize the staff members who contribute so much to making the Community Restorium such a warm and welcoming home.
