Bonners Ferry pair take part in Girls State program

BONNERS FERRY — Local Girls State citizens, Cassandra Curtiss and Jada Ann Miller have returned home, having spent a week immersed in learning the ins and outs of life of a state legislator, holding political conventions, and listening to speakers from various levels of local, county, and state government. During this Girls State Session, Curtiss was elected election board clerk and Miller was appointed to director of Idaho Army and Air National Guard.
