Capt. Gene Littlefield fought in World War II at the Battle of the Bulge. His unit won a Presidential Unit Citation for breaking through the Siegfried Line. The Littlefield’s moved to Bonners Ferry in 1923. Littlefield graduated from BFHS in 1939.
