The Bonners Ferry boys varsity basketball team’s slump continued last week as they dropped two more games, one to Priest River and the other to Stillwater Christian, on Jan. 27 and 28. Caleb Harrington led the Badgers in scoring in the Priest River game on Jan. 27 with 17 points, followed by Chris Sabin with 9 and Kaleb Stockton with 8. While Bonners Ferry kept the game close and gave the visiting team a run for their money, the Spartans ended strong and won the game 54-51. The Badgers lost the following night’s game to Stillwater Christian (60-67), bringing the team’s overall record to 3-8. The Badgers are currently 0-2 in league and they will play their next league game against Timberlake at home on Thursday, Feb. 2.
