Boundary County Sheriff-Elect David Kramer is photographed with Kootenai Tribe of Idaho youth in their regalia prior to last summer’s PowWow. Kramer will offically step down from the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho Police Department and take up his new post as Boundary County Sheriff next week. “I have enjoyed the opportunity to work with and for the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho as a Police Officer, and for the friendships that have been made,” Kramer said. “I look forward to a continued relationship with the members of the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho as Sheriff.”
Kramer, along with Boundary County Commissioner Walt Kirby, Boundary County Commissioner Dan Dinning and Boundary County Prosecuting Attorney Jack Douglas, will be sworn in on Monday, Jan. 9, at 9 a.m., inside the Boundary County Courthouse.
