Kootenai Tribe hosts public sturgeon release

On Friday May 12, the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho invites the public to assist the Kootenai Tribe’s staff with releasing young sturgeon at the Search and Rescue County Boat Ramp from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM noon at the public Search and Rescue Boat Ramp (located by the Boundary County Waterways Building) 1 mile west on Riverside Street. Since this is a public boat launch, please be sure to park only in the designated areas.
