BONNERS FERRY — Far North Deli, the beloved sandwich shop owned and managed by Alison Henslee, closed its door for the last time on April 29, after almost five years in business.

BONNERS FERRY — The Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce held their second Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner at the Kootenai Brewing Company on April 27. It was a successful evening with a larger than expected turnout of around 60 people.

Recipe: Carrot Pancakes add new flavors to a breakfast staple
I am finishing off the carrots from my winter dig, the few that the pocket gophers left for me. This pancake batter is thick so it is best to make small pancakes so that they cook all the way through. Adding walnuts to your maple syrup is a special treat.

Badger Baseball claims third straight league title with sweep of Tigers
The Badger baseball team were trailing 4 – 1 and down to their last two outs when they put up 7 runs in the top of the 7th inning to stage an 8-4 victory in game one over the Timberlake Tigers in IML play. They went on to beat the Tigers 19-3 in game two to secure their 3rd straight league title.

BONNERS FERRY — The Bonners Ferry Warriors Lacrosse Team struggled against the Lake City Wolves last Monday, but they gave it their all against the number one lacrosse team in the North Idaho League and the number one team in Idaho right now.
