Legislative session is almost over
As the tentative March 24th session deadline drew closer, there was an urgency to “get done and go home”. This reckless pace of Pelosi-style “pass-it-to-find-out what's-in-it” style of legislating is counter productive to what Idaho really needs and justification for a major overhaul of the committee system.

March Madness in Idaho: Time to Be Vigilant!
The Idaho Legislature has it’s own version of March Madness. The last few days of March are some of the longest, craziest, and most expensive days of the session. In the past few years we have seen Obamacare adopted by Idaho, massive increases in gas taxes and registration fees, and International Law incorporated into Idaho statutes, all introduced in the waning hours of the Legislature.

The end of the 3rd Quarter of the 2016-2017 school year is upon us, and BFHS students and staff will be working hard to finish strong. I know it is not safe to say this, so you can all blame me when it snows again, but we made it through winter. We all rallied as a community to dig out, and our efforts are paying off.

Semester 1 is a wrap; BFHS welcomes semester 2 and hopes for more sun!
In total, the semester flew by, and I don’t know where the time went. I am thankful for a great semester, and there are many people that I will be thanking in the coming weeks for helping BFHS put another semester under our belt.
