The reason for the change in names is: Childrens preference, absent biological father, domestic violence. It is to protect the children from the potential harm of being associated with the name Rucker the kids are discriminated against because of their last name. A hearing on the petition is scheduled for 9:30 o'clock a.m. on 6-7-16 at the Boundary County Courthouse. Objections may be filed by any person who can show the court a good reason against the name changes.
