Known as Idaho Kids Covered, this effort taps the state’s top children’s health experts to push forward a number of public policy goals focused on ensuring kids reach their full potential.

Firefighters extinguish fire on Westside Road

On July 16, shortly after 11 a.m. Hall Mountain Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call on Westside Road. A hay baler had caught on fire, igniting the field immediately around it. By the time Hall Mountain firefighters arrived the farmer had already ejected the bale of hay, unhooked the tractor from the baler, and was containing the fire with fire extinguishers.
