Soul Shine’s former owners, Tracy Truesdell and Josh Sherven, have handed the reins down to Laken Rice, who at 20 years old, has become a business owner to a well-rated business in the city.

BONNERS FERRY — Those people who choose to own cats and dogs know that just like their owners, a good spa and haircut makes the day bright, and one comes out looking and feeling refreshed. Taking pets to the groomer is also healthy for them, they get a bath and a haircut, and nails trimmed.

Two more road wins for Lady Badgers

BONNERS FERRY — Lady Badgers Basketball recorded two road wins last week, beginning with a 64-30 victory at Clark Fork on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

BONNERS FERRY — The second graders of Mrs. Tawny Macdonald’s class at Naples Elementary School had their eyes light up when they were awarded an ice cream party for completing their homework for National Fire Prevention week.

U.S. Geological Survey to conduct dye tracer and aerial mapping surveys on Kootenai River

BONNERS FERRY — From Sept. 24 through 29, scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey will conduct dye tracer and aerial mapping studies on northern Idaho’s Kootenai River. Data from the studies will support Idaho Department of Fish and Game and Kootenai Tribe of Idaho fisheries and river restoration projects.
