Kootenai River Days events begin next week

This is just a reminder from the Bonners Ferry Chamber of Commerce, that Kootenai River Days-2017, from July 4-8, is coming up and this year’s event should be especially exciting with events from the Bull Bash, to Comedians at the Kootenai River Inn, the Rotary Wine Walk and a Street Fair in downtown Bonners Ferry with vendors, arts, crafts, FREE bouncy castles and musicians, including special guest the Tru North Band, hitting the stage Saturday night, after the Bull Bash, at 8:30 p.m. on Bonner Street in downtown Bonners Ferry.

BONNERS FERRY — On Wednesday, Jan. 3, the Lady Badgers braved the snowy roads and traveled to Eureka, Mont., to play the Lions of Lincoln County High School. The Badgers overcame one of their lowest shooting-percentage games (29 percent) and pulled out a 52-44 win.

COEUR D’ALENE—The Badger wrestlers were a busy bunch last week. They competed in matches with American Falls and Kellogg in the Kellogg Duals that took place Jan. 26. Then they traveled to Coeur d’Alene to compete in the North Idaho Rumble on Jan. 27 and 28.
