Bonners Ferry rallies to upset Sandpoint

On Friday night, Dec. 16, the Badgers put an end to a losing streak spanning at least eight years when they came from behind to beat Sandpoint at home 66-57. It was a glorious upset, especially for Badger fans in the stands who have shown up to support the team during the annual Moose Madness rivalry game year after year, only to watch the Bulldogs win eight in a row.

District Judge Barbara Buchan found that the prosecution established a man's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt in a lewd conduct case during a Wednesday bench trial. Sentencing will take place in October.

As the temperatures cool and the leaves fall, the familiar “a honk, a honk, a honk” can be heard overhead as Canada geese fly in their signature “V” formations. Many birds migrate in the fall but the loud call of Canada geese makes them highly noticeable.

With sincere gratitude, Boundary County Victim Services (BCVS) would like to thank the North Idaho Action Fund of the Idaho Community Foundation for awarding our program, for the second year in a row, with a generous grant in December 2018.
