Mirror Lake Women's Golf Association
BONNERS FERRY — The Mirror Lake Women’s Golf week 6 game of the day was Most Drives off the Tee in the Fairway and Longest Drive on hole #6. In the Tuesday evening group Julie Williams had the longest drive and in the Wednesday morning group Karen English had the longest drive on hole #6. Karen English had low gross on Wednesday morning with a score of 50 for the A group and Anne Bonar had the low gross in the B group with a score of 63. Karen English had the low net for the A group with a 36 and Etta Mae Schnuerle had the low net in the B group with a 39. Karen English had the least number of putts with 14 and Ada Gardiner had a chip- in on hole #8.

SEASON OPENER: Softball triple header against Maniacs
3A Bonners Ferry softball opens the season against the Orofino Maniacs of the 2A Central Idaho League in a triple header, going 0-3.

BCVS hosting festival, fashion show
Many community residents are both loyal attendees and contributors to the Boundary County Victim Services’ annual Fall Festival & Fashion Show. This year’s fundraiser will take place on Saturday, Nov. 4. The doors open at 5 p.m. and the action will start at 6 p.m.

100 Years Ago Fred G. Chambers of Copeland is securing a patent for an auto mower. The machine can be attached to any auto, truck or tractor and will mow a swath from 5 ½ feet to 24 feet wide.
Tree planting workshops offered in March
Those wishing to participate should pre-register by Friday, March 18th at the University of Idaho Extension office in the county where they will be attending the program. A $10 registration fee covers resource materials and refreshments. The program is eligible for 3.5 Idaho Pro-Logger credits.
