Project seeks computers to help community’s youth

The coronavirus crisis is revealing many gaps in our society, ones we’ve always known existed like affordable childcare, adequate health care, and even our readiness to face a pandemic. One of those gaps is the digital divide where many students don’t have computers or internet service at home, while others do.

Staff, students, parents face changes due to coronavirus pandemic

Greetings from a very quiet BFHS. I believe this quote sums up the sums quarter quite well. “… The only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability.”(Sergey Grechishkin)

Cross-country teams prepare for districts

The cross country regular season came to a close last week as teams make final preparations for district competitions coming this week. The BFHS team traveled to Kellogg for the Ben Castro Invitational at Pinehurst Golf Course on Oct. 15. The meet drew many small schools such as Potlach, Priest River, and Kootenai, but also attracted 4A Lakeland. Due to late start times and many teams having long travel distances, Kellogg made the wise choice to run all high school boys in one race and all high school girls in another.

A Day in the Life: BFPD

BONNERS FERRY — Many people drive down the road, happily chatting with passengers or listening to their favorite song on the radio. A glance in the rear view mirror reveals the ominous light bar perched on top of a patrol car.
