BONNERS FERRY — Every four years, Bonners Ferry High School alumni are drawn from around the country to return home, swarm the streets, searching out or accidentally finding their former classmates. The results were a recurring theme of sounds of excited greetings, hugs, handshakes, back slaps, all taking place, over and over, the length of the packed street.

City Turns Off New Water Source
After comments from multiple residents about water quality issues, City Administrator Lisa Ailport gave the council an update on the results of testing of the well water recently added to the supply. She said that she hadn’t had time to consult with the city engineer about the report, but it did confirm the expected results of high levels of calcium in the well water.
