Superintendent Scoop: End of 2017-18 school year
The statement, “This was an interesting year!” evokes many thoughts to different people. I started teaching in 1977; that equals 41 school years! 2017-2018 in BCSD gets the title of the Most Interesting!! This is not to say it was a bad year, very far from that! As synonyms for “interesting” explain: absorbing, engrossing, fascinating, riveting, gripping, compelling, compulsive, captivating, engaging, enthralling and my favorite — intriguing! I will stick with interesting. If you want to know any more, wait for the book… names will be changed to protect the innocent (and the interesting!).
Saturday fundraiser to help BFHS swimmer

Small Business Administration, announced director Tanya N. Garfield of SBA’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West. These loans offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by drought in the following primary counties that began June 29, 2021.

Seven projects under way in Boundary County's forests
Several projects are under way or in the planning stages within the Idaho Panhandle National Forest. The Kootenai Valley Resource Initiative Forestry sub-committee reviewed the progress of the projects at their last meeting of 2013.

NOTICE INVITING BIDS OWNER: Boundary County 6452 Kootenai Street Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 Separate sealed BIDS for the: Boundary County Airport Snow Removal Equipment Building FAA/AIP Project No. 3-16-0004-016-2019 Will be received by Owner at the office of the Boundary County Board of Commissioners, 6452 Kootenai Street, Bonners Ferry, Idaho until 2:00 p.m., Monday April 20, 2020. Mailed bids shall be submitted to P.O. Box 419, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805. Bids will be publicly opened in and read aloud. It shall be the duty of each Bidder to submit his/her bid on or before the hour and date specified. Work associated with proposed improvements are generally described as follows: Snow removal equipment building consists of all elements necessary to construct a pre-engineered wood frame or metal building for storage of the airport's snow removal equipment. Other items include associated excavation, embankment, site grading, concrete approach, electrical, mechanical and site work for building construction.
