BONNERS FERRY — Ethan Wilson and Mason McGinnis scored unassisted goals for the Badgers in a 3-1 Intermountain League win against the Spartans.
Man drowns in Moyie River
BONNERS FERRY — U.S. Border Patrol pulled a male subject from the Moyie River in Eastport around 5:15 p.m. on May 22, according to Boundary County Sheriff Chief Deputy Richard Stephens. It was the second drowning in the river in two weeks.
Post High School planning night
The Bonners Ferry High School counseling department presents “What’s Next?”, a student and family Post-High School Planning Night on Oct. 1, at the BFHS Auditorium from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All questions answered, such as, “How do I afford college? What is FAFSA? How do I get involved with the military? What do I need to do to prepare for the workforce? How do I get scholarships? Senior project? What is CTE, and how do I get into career-technical schools?” Free pizza and drinks will be provided. All are welcome!

The application period for this fall’s deer, elk, pronghorn, black bear, and turkey controlled hunts goes through Sunday, June 5.

Boundary County Planning and Zoning public hearing Tuesday, Dec. 14, on a request for preliminary plat for a rural subdivision to divide two 20-acre parcels into seven lots between five acres to 6.43 acres in size.
Deadline set for school bond letters
Due to the Boundary County School District school bond being run Aug. 30, letters to the editor regarding this topic must be submitted by 5 p.m. Aug. 22 in order to run in the Aug. 25 edition of the Herald. No letters on the school bond will run after this date.

In the rain the Badgers fought the Timberlake Tigers with the Badgers down 2-3 at the half on Thursday Sept. 29.
