City Administrator Lisa Ailport asked the council to consider a new position at the city municipal pool. Previously, there has only been a head lifeguard position, with administrative duties and tasks performed by other city employees and/or departments. Ailport proposed creating a new position of pool manager.

The Little Mermaid Audition

An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) original adaptation of THE LITTLE MERMAID Monday, March 12, at BFHS Becker Auditorium from 4-6:30 p.m. to (end time). Those auditioning should arrive at 4 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two and a half hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

IHC seeks applications for grants, fellowships

The Idaho Humanities Council invites proposals for Mini and Major grants, Teacher Incentive Grants, and Research Fellowships from organizations and individuals for consideration at the Council’s fall grant round. The deadline for grant proposals is September 15, 2016. Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to contact IHC staff in advance of the deadline to discuss their project ideas before drafting a proposal.
