The Bonners Ferry Jaycees and Jay-c-ettes hosted a Halloween party in 1962. The “husbands and wives” dressed in fine costumes, danced, and played games. The collage shows some of the couples in attendance: the Millers, Plumlees, and Collyers (and other unknown individuals).

BONNERS FERRY — The Bonners Ferry Badgers came out swinging against the league leading Timberlake Tigers but failed to put many runs on the board as the Tigers beat the Badgers 6 – 2 in IML action last Tuesday. Bonners Ferry out hit Timberlake 12 to 6 but also hit in to three key double plays that killed innings for the Badgers. Senior pitcher Zach Maas pitch four strong innings but took the loss.

I'm glad to hear that our paid high school faculty has found a way for Jake Oxford to make up days that will be missed while attending the USTRCA finals in Oklahoma City at the end of this month.
