People 55 and older with qualifying medical condition eligible for COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, March 15
Residents 55 years and older with a qualifying medical condition (Subgroup 3.1) are eligible to get their COVID-19 vaccine now. Appointments released by Panhandle Health District this Wednesday, March 17th, will be available to individuals 55 years and older regardless of medical conditions.

All Five PHD Counties Move to Yellow Risk Category
In accordance with the regional COVID-19 gating criteria, all five counties that the Panhandle Health District (PHD) serves have moved to the yellow risk category. Kootenai, Bonner, Boundary, Benewah, and Shoshone counties all moved into the yellow category on Thursday, March 11.

Registration Open for Baseball and Softball
Spring is nearly upon us — a time to enjoy the sun and warmer weather. With it comes spring and summer activities for local kids. Boundary County Parks and Rec is a big part of that, and now is the time to get your kids signed up for baseball and softball. Parents are encouraged to volunteer as well.
