Avoiding the summer slide
As an educator, I worry about the summer slide. This term refers to the learning loss most students experience over summer break. Like so many of us, students also suffer from the “use it or lose it” effect.

Badger JV, They're Grrrrrrreat! Smack Kellogg Cats 48-6
The Badgers travelled to Kellogg last Thursday intent on taming the Wildcats from opening whistle. The Cats won the toss, and deferred to the Badgers. On the kickoff the Badgers brought the ball back to their own 43 yard line.

Fun in store at upcoming North Idaho State Fair
COEUR D’ALENE — The North Idaho State Fair is putting together an all-star lineup for its grandstand shows and ground attractions. Emmitt D. Driver, known to many as “Bo Driver,” died at the age of 70 at Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on Memorial Day, May 25, 2020, 30 years to the date that he made Bonners Ferry his permanent home.
Work moving forward on McArthur Lake project
Work is moving forward on the U.S. 95 project near McArthur Lake. As of April, Idaho Transportation Department officials said bridge abutments and the pier, which serve as foundations for the bridge itself, are nearing completion.
