EASTPORT — In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic — where businesses are temporarily closing, people are practicing social distancing or hunkering down at home, and toilet paper is the hot commodity — some things have not changed.
Coomunity needs to pull together; do best with less
No surprise that the town districts would support the school bond. It is a surprise that Naples did. The levy means the tax money from all the farms and businesses of Porthill, Eastport, Mt. Hall, Evergreen, Moyie, Naples and Copeland will go to support the sports programs and extra curricular activities at the Bonners Ferry schools where town kids can participate and excel.

100 Years Ago The graduating class at BFHS is the largest in history with 18 seniors in the class. Local authorities returned from Boise with promises of $40,000 for the Roosevelt Highway and $95 for the Bonners Ferry to Eastport highway.
