U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to Review Status of 69 Pacific Region Species
The Pacific Region of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced Wednesday it is initiating 5-year reviews of 69 species from Idaho, Washington, Hawai’i, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands that are protected under the federal Endangered Species Act.

Grace Villelli scored 8 first half points and the Badgers used a 17-7 second quarter scoring advantage to take a 25-19 lead into halftime at Timberlake, the state’s top-rated 3A team.
Badger softball shakes off jitters, focused on improving
Girls baseball went 0-2 in a doubleheader against St. Maries on Saturday, March 13, learned a lot and were able to shake off first-game jitters.

Municipal pool opens for 90th season
The Bonners Ferry municipal pool opened its 90th season with a splash on Sunday, June 9. The pool, located at Washington and Helena streets, is free to use and offers swim lessons, and water fitness classes.
