NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Boundary County Commissioners will hold a reconsideration hearing at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 in the Commissioners' Office at the Boundary County Courthouse to reconsider a Short Plat Subdivision Application 17-051 by Joy Liljestam and Ted Ludlum. Application 17-051 dealt with a request to amend a previous plat on parcel # RP009000000070A. This request applies to Ordinance 2017-1 and specifically to Section(s) 11.3.6. Rural Subdivision: "Subdivision by short plat to create lots primarily intended for residential development where each lot meets or exceeds the density of the zone district in which it lies and where no lot created is less than 2-1/2 acres in size."; 11.6. Administration, Platted Subdivision. The decision will be made based upon what is in the record. There will be no public input. Further information is available on this application at the Planning & Zoning Office, room 16 of the Courthouse, and the application is available for public review. Badgers begin districts Monday
The BFHS boys varsity basketball team split a pair of Intermountain League games this past week, leaving the Badgers with a 3-3 conference mark and the third seed in next week’s 3A District 1 tournament, hosted by Kellogg High School.

Riverside Road plans debated
BONNERS FERRY — Concerned community members came together in the barn at the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge to discuss the plans for upcoming Riverside Road Project on Riverside Street from Ambush Rock through the refuge. The two meetings were scheduled on Aug. 8, for members of the community to obtain more information and submit opinions and concerns about the project to widen the road.
