BONNERS FERRY — A head-on collision occurred on the Kootenai River Bridge at 6:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, when a southbound 2012 GMC pickup driven by Christopher Powers crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 1992 GMC pickup, according to a witness account in the police report.

BONNERS FERRY — Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, Bonners Ferry Police Department, and Kootenai Tribal Police were investigating an alleged hit and run incident and a separate crash involving the same suspected vehicle on Nov. 29 around 5:15 p.m. on Mission Road.
